If you have a website or blog, you need to Get Traffic! Without traffic, a blog or website is like having a shop on a dessert island. No one will come. What ever your reasons for having a site, to get traffic is like having a shop on the high street.
There are many ways to get traffic. Of course, we all want FREE traffic, but nothing is free in this world. It will take you a lot of time to get traffic for free and many people don’t have the time
There are countless ways to get paid traffic and some are great and others are a waste of money. You will first have to decide what you need your traffic for. Obviously the main reason to get traffic is so that people can see your website, to get your message or for cormercial reasons, but, there is also the fact that sites with traffic do better in the SERPs (Search Engine Ranking Positions).
The number one source of free traffic is ‘organic’ search engine results. If you have a site that sells used bikes, if someone types ‘used bikes’ in to Google, Yahoo or Bing etc and your site is at the no 1 position on page one, you will get a lot more ‘hits’ (or views) than if you are on page 18. However, unless you know about SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), you will have to pay for this, ergo: it is not really free traffic. SEO is a complete topic and I would need to make another site just about that, so for now, we will not dwell on it.
If you go to https://adwords.google.com/ko/KeywordPlanner/, you can type in your keywords and Google will give you a list of keyword sugestions as well as telling you the price of having an advert on Google, however, these are nearly always out of reach for most peoples’ budgets.
